Between April 2013 and December 2014, the talented team at Vancouver Cycle Chic independently produced a series of short films to highlight the diversity, creativity and humanity of two-wheeled transportation, and inspire others to give it a try. The Cycle Chic Films have been a remarkable success, garnering over 35,000 views, along with features in Vancouver Is Awesome, Momentum Magazine, Hush Magazine, Spacing Magazine, Scout Magazine, Copenhagenize, and many other online forums. One of the films: ‘Heart and Soul,’ was awarded ‘Best Bicycle Short Film’ at the New Urbanism Film Festival in Los Angeles, where producer Chris led a live-streamed workshop on effectively promoting bicycle culture. The films were also named 'Best Documentary/Non-Fiction Series' at the inaugural Vancouver Web Fest, an international celebration of entertainment and programming created exclusively for the Internet.
